Characteristics of The Good Resource Sharing Sites
The Recent technological advances have had important benefits in a
positive way many areas of our lives for example, the way we communicate,
collaborate, learn, and even teach.
While I was writing this
post, I was trying to recall if when I was in elementary school I ever had
heard phrases such as
"20th-century teacher" or "19th-century teacher”.
Consequently the new
era has been changing during the last years, the "20th" to
"21st" brings different results: a 21st-century school, 21st-century
education, 21st-century teacher, and 21st-century skills in which implicate
both teachers and students teaching and learning strategies.

Obviously, 21st century has been a revolutionary,
technological, and modern century including the digital phenomenon and with it
an endless resources sharing in which users share information through file
access making life easier everywhere, all the time.
files, data, multimedia,
hardware like printers, fax machine and scanners are the most frequently used
shared objects.
Nowadays, not only people use resource sharing to facilitate work or activities, but also teachers at school even at university are using websites and platform which involve credibility, realistic, and factual with a relevant education to provide them an effective way to collect, organize, and share information with others.

Below are some characteristics of the good resource sharing sides that are essential for educational purposes
1. Resource sharing can be
accessed remotely across multiple administrative domains.
2. Allows users to operate
on their own computer or using any other device.
3. Resource sharing allows
different users to share the same information at the same time.
4.Are used by teams or co-workers
to share information on a common area of interest.
5. For educators, they can
manage class assignments, and make announcements to the class. For example they
can add new assignments, with due date and attached materials, and also
teachers can send messages to the entire class.
6.Also can post materials
or instructions for the class, including
syllabus, grading policy, or classroom rules.
7.Users can edit
information, add or remove materials at any time.
8.One of the most
important characteristics is messages can be sent very quickly to anyone else
on the network, moreover, these messages can include pictures, audio, video and
even calls.
9.Another characteristic
is everyone on the network can use the same data; this avoids problems for example
where some users may have older information than others.
10. Protection against
hackers and viruses are unprotected.
12. Resources sharing
simplify creating, distributing and grading assignments in a paperless way.
13. Contributors work in an
effective and efficient way at the same time.
14. Educational resources
are considered the most important educational purpose element in the
world.
Learning resource sharing may be used for learning, education or training,
and may also be referenced in a learning context supported by
technologies, easily updated or modified.
It is reusable, flexible, accessible and interoperable.
All these characteristics have called my attention and I think are intersting. But I was struck by the point five that it talks about how teachers can use this tool for their classes and assignments.

It is true that both, teachers and students make use of them, and the resource sharing can be accessed with multiple administrative domains, like plattforms, I can relate it because in our universtity we use it a lot to send our assigments, and many others activities that the professor share with us. ResponderBorrarWe agree with Ana Victoria’s group where she mentioned that there was an advance in technology in the 20th and 21st century. It allows an advance in the use of that tool in education system. Teachers use resources sharing in order to share, collect and organize information with their students. Teachers can sent the assignment, grades, and so on, for examples using platforms or other sources to develop their classes involving credibility.
